The frames have strips of ivory or bone around the perimeter apprx. 5-1/2" x 4-7/8" overall.

  A French Tortoise Minaudiere The rectangular hinged case has rounded edges and metal latch and hinge. The latch has impressed French touchmarks. The interior is tan moire with a change purse at the left leather framed beveled mirror at the right loop to hold a lipstick above the mirror. It has braided cord and tassel in tans and brown attached to the exterior with eye hooks. Measures apprx. 3-3/8" x 2-1/2" braided cord handle apprx. 7"L tassel apprx. 5-1/2"L.
