Four Mintons equestrian tiles: hand painted equestrian subjects with figures and horses, titles include "Regardless of Expense", "Grief Over Wire", "If Women Will Hunt" and "John", marked on back "Mintons China Works, Stoke-on-Trent" with impressed globe mark, each about 6 x 6 in.; modern wooden frames. All with overall light crazing, surface abrasions, one with chipped edge. Private Collection, Salem, South Carolina.

AN IMPORTANT MINTON ORMOLU
AN IMPORTANT MINTON ORMOLU MOUNTED MAJOLICA JARDINIERE AND PEDESTAL 1871, composed of a pedestal of triangular storks, overlooking three mermaids, which supports a wide basin mounted with ormolu acanthus leaves in high relief. The basin repeats the aquatic theme, having a rim encircled with a band of three-dimensional lustrous pottery pearls above a running water lily design over scallop shells. The underside is impressed with shape 130 and "Minton" with cypher mark.

MINTON MAJOLICA VASE 19th century, which features climbing cherubs and waterlilies against a turquoise blue ground. The underside of the vase bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery, a pattern number "1732," and a factory specific date cipher which, although a faint impression, appears as "M" for 1870.
