JOSEF HOFFMANN STENDIG SIX 'PRAGUE' 811 ARMCHAIRSSix Prague armchairs by Stendig, model 811 (A811/F), circa 1960s. Originally designed in 1925 by Josef Hoffmann in collaboration with Josef Frank, these iconic beech bentwood chairs were later licensed and produced by Stendig. Each is stamped "Made in Czechoslovakia" to the underside, and one chair retains its original Stendig oval sticker. Each chair measures approximately 32" x 21" x 19".
Condition
All of the chairs are structurally very sound. All of the synthetic caning remains intact. There is general cosmetic wear to the beechwood across the set, typical of age and use. A few spots of discoloration on the caning.
