Condition: Barrel and action retains 90% of the original blue finish. Breechblock with traces of case color mostly turning brown. Walnut stock has had a coat of Tru-oil applied. Still retains a good cartouche; the stock has a cut out where the receiver sight was added. Bore is excellent.

Lockplate marked Jenks RI 1812 at the rear of plate; under the pan is an eagle with US in the talons. Flat-style lockplate with rounded pan flat hammer. Walnut stock with three barrel bands. Condition: All metal has been lightly cleaned to bright with some light staining and pitting. There is some pitting around the touch hole. Stock is excellent. Very sharp and crisp musket.

Very good condition. Includes photos of the dealer and shop when this was purchased in 1974, Karl F. Wede to David L. Toombs, President of the Lion Company, Inc., Yacht Builders at the foot of South Street, Stamford, Connecticut.
