SWISS MODEL 1714 FLINTLOCK MUSKET SwitzerlandC. 1740s-50s.71 bore, NSN, walnut stock with "HM" lightly carved below the trigger guard tang, with "20" in a oval over "719" below the barrel tang, iron mountings and sling swivels, rounded lock plate marked under the feather spring with "IPA" in a cartouche, octagonal to round barrel marked "D45" and "719", and a button-type ramrod.

Action currently working. Overall 58'' long.CONDITION: Surface rust and pitting on nearly all the metal typical scratches and gouges to stock bend to cleaning rod. A note to buyers of antique firearms it is NEVER a good idea to fire antique firearms regardless of what you see on television.

Model 1884 Springfield Ttrapdoor Rifle .45-70 cal. 32.5" round barrel S/N 475567. 1884 dated breechblock no rear barrel sight a rear receiver sight has been added. Walnut stock. Condition: Barrel and action retains 90% of the original blue finish. Breechblock with traces of case color mostly turning brown. Walnut stock has had a coat of Tru-oil applied. Still retains a good cartouche; the stock has a cut out where the receiver sight was added. Bore is excellent.

Model 1808 Contract Jenks Flintlock Musket .69 caliber 44.625'' round barrel marked on top of barrel in an oval at breech P TW. Lockplate marked Jenks RI 1812 at the rear of plate; under the pan is an eagle with US in the talons. Flat-style lockplate with rounded pan flat hammer. Walnut stock with three barrel bands. Condition: All metal has been lightly cleaned to bright with some light staining and pitting. There is some pitting around the touch hole. Stock is excellent. Very sharp and crisp musket.

U.S. MODEL 1861 SPECIAL COLT CONTRACT RIFLE MUSKET United StatesC. 1864.58 caliber, serial number 904, walnut stock with two crisp cartouche marks on the left side of the stock, "904" stamped on the left side of the butt, and "E.M.W" stamped on the comb in front of the butt plate tang, steel fittings, the lock is marked "1864" and "U.S./COLT'S PT F A MFG CO/HARTFORD CT", with an eagle on the bolster, the butt plate tang marked "US" with a small "B" below the screw, the barrel tang marked with a small "L" below the screw, the barrel flat is marked "1864", the breech is marked "V/P" over an eagles head, the far left flat is marked "904 M.N.M STEEL", the blued rear sight is marked with a small "W", the barrel bands all have a small "L" on the left side, the nose cap has a small "L" on the front, with a tulip-shaped ramrod.

FRENCH PRISONER-OF-WAR SHIP MODEL OF A ROYAL NAVY SHIP OF THE LINE Napoleonic Wars era model, circa 1800-1810, of a two-decker 74 Gun Ship of the Line, fully rigged, no sails, very detailed, including the stern decoration, the model is roughly 20" tall, 23" long, in a tempered glass case with mahogany base, 27 1/2" x 38 1/2" x 14 1/2". Very good condition. Includes photos of the dealer and shop when this was purchased in 1974, Karl F. Wede to David L. Toombs, President of the Lion Company, Inc., Yacht Builders at the foot of South Street, Stamford, Connecticut.
