Bore is clear good rifling strong action. Magazine is loose at top mounting screw (muzzel end). 50% blue on barrel frame and magazine have a brown patina. *Requires FFL form 4473.

  Factory Engraved Marlin Model 1889 Deluxe Rifle 32-20 cal. 30'' octagonal barrel S/N 96509. Full magazine Rocky Mountain rear sight Rocky Mountain front sight with silver blade. Grade 3 factory engraving; frame done in scrolls with a panel of a deer on the left side. Finish in blue with case hardened colored frame lever hammer and buttplate. Finely figured walnut buttstock and forearm; checkered pistol grip and checkered forearm. Barrel is two inches longer than the magazine tube. Condition: Barrel and magazine tube retain 98% of the original blue finish. Rear barrel sight and forearm cap retain 98% of the blue finish. The front two screws in the forearm cap have been turned. Frame retains 98% of the original case colors and still retains most of the original shellac. Lever retains 98% of the case colors thinning on the bottom of the lever. Buttplate still retains 95% of the case colors just thinning a little. Buttstock and forearm are in excellent condition still retaining most of the original lacquered finish.

The barrel is made from a Rock Island Arsenal military model 1903 barrel dated 9-18. This gun should be checked by a competent gunsmith before attempting to shoot it. the wood is sanded and refinished with poor repairs.
