Rifling is worn somewhat dark without pitting. Over-all gun condition is excellent. Cartouche outline is visible though no longer legible. This is an antique.

The receiver has the name ''Reco'' engraved on the right side and a game scene on the left side featuring a bear and a deer. The engraving is very amateurish and there is no finish on the receiver. The barrel is made from a Rock Island Arsenal military model 1903 barrel dated 9-18. This gun should be checked by a competent gunsmith before attempting to shoot it. the wood is sanded and refinished with poor repairs.
