• MARLIN MODEL 19-G SHOTGUN, 12 GA
  MARLIN MODEL 19-G SHOTGUN, 12 GA Marlin's turn of the century improvement on their earlier Model 1898 pump shotgun. The Model 19 addresses a number of ergonomic and safety-related complaints of the earlier model while also improving it for the then new smokeless powder cartridges which were dominating the market. The shotgun features an all-blued finish with a corn-cob style pump grip and smooth walnut buttstock. This particular shotgun had unfortunately suffered in a damp environment, thankfully with only some minor spots of pitting, but leaving the finish only about 75% remaining. There are no observable mechanial issues with this gun and the internals are in overall good condition. The model was manufactured between 1900 and discontinued in 1910. It was marketed as a lower priced version of the model 1894 Remington's first hammerless double barrel with approximately 99,000 shotguns manufactured. This shotgun displays 30" long Damascus double barrels, walnut stock and thick front grip, double trigger system, and trigger guard. The sides of the frame are marked "Remington Arms Co." The shotgun mechanically shows a smooth action, and properly functional double triggers. Overall the shotgun shows good condition with some wear due to age and use with some light signs of repair.   REMINGTON MODEL 11 SHOTGUN, 20 GA A fine example of Remington's vintage semi-automatic shotgun models. A licensed copy of the hugely successful Browning Auto 5, the Model 11 operates on a long-recoil system by which the barrel and bolt remain connected for the first part of travel after firing. The shotgun features a blued round barrel fitted with a Poly-Choke mounted in a blued receiver with engraved images of a goose in flight and a pheasant in the tall grass. The gun also features walnut handguard and buttstock with fine checkering to the grips and a plastic butt-plate. The gun has significant aesthetic wear throughout with numerous dings and scratches to the wood furniture as well as rubbing wear to the finish with about 75-80% remaining.
