Walnut stock and leather sling?with nickel-plated bayonet. Condition: Still retains most of the nickel finish with some peeling on the top of breechblock.?Nickel has dulled and has some brown spots popping through.?Stock has some nicks and dings still has remains of the cartouche and the block "L" behind the triggerguard.

These were made on a trial basis at Springfield Arsenal by the United Nickel Company Beardslee Mfg & Nickel Company. Condition: Nickel has dulled and has areas of peeling around the receiver breechblock bands and front of barrel. With some freckling. Stock with some nicks and dings still retains three cartouches on the left flat opposite of the lock. Bore has some light pitting but would clean out to better.

Serial number 290600, grade 101, lever set movement. Heavy 14K gold case is highly decorated, the front with engraved rural town scene with stream. Both sides with embossed circular ornamentation and case edges embossed with swirling design. 142.8 grams including mechanism. CONDITION: Standard caveat: Currently running but not guaranteed to continue. Case in good condition with very, very minor pocket abrasions. Missing fob loop.

  Factory Engraved Marlin Model 1889 Deluxe Rifle 32-20 cal. 30'' octagonal barrel S/N 96509. Full magazine Rocky Mountain rear sight Rocky Mountain front sight with silver blade. Grade 3 factory engraving; frame done in scrolls with a panel of a deer on the left side. Finish in blue with case hardened colored frame lever hammer and buttplate. Finely figured walnut buttstock and forearm; checkered pistol grip and checkered forearm. Barrel is two inches longer than the magazine tube. Condition: Barrel and magazine tube retain 98% of the original blue finish. Rear barrel sight and forearm cap retain 98% of the blue finish. The front two screws in the forearm cap have been turned. Frame retains 98% of the original case colors and still retains most of the original shellac. Lever retains 98% of the case colors thinning on the bottom of the lever. Buttplate still retains 95% of the case colors just thinning a little. Buttstock and forearm are in excellent condition still retaining most of the original lacquered finish.
