Carved and inlaid POW camp box containing sterling wings patches and emblems. Scrap book containing home life and series of photos with pilot friend in group shot then one hour later being loaded onto air ambulance after plane stalled friend later died. WAYNE MORRELL MASSACHUSETTS COASTAL BLOOM PAINTING Massachusetts, New Jersey,1923-2013Vibrant impressionist depiction of a flower lined path leading towards the ocean spotted with sailboats. Morrell studied draftsmanship and commercial art at the Philadelphia School of Industrial Arts focusing primarily as a mural artist before leaving the the commercial arts world to focus on his fine art career. Morrell is a member of the Rockport Art Association with collections at the Butler Institute of American Art, the Columbus Museum of Fine Art, the American Watercolor Society, the Vermont Art Association, and the Rockport Art Association.
