(6) YACHTING PHOTOGRAPHS BY BEKEN & SON Alfred Edward Beken (1855-1915) and his son Frank (1880-1970) ran a marine photography business in Cowes, England. These images are from the 1930s and are individually signed and titled, including: "Seaview Mermaids at Cowes"; "Blue Haze"; "Severn II"; "HMY 'Britannia'"; Yankee, Cowes, 1935"; "Endeavor". In matching mahogany stick frames, matted and glazed, varying in size by less than an inch, most silver gelatin photos are 9" x 11", laid down. One mount has water damage, photo is unaffected.
