AMERICAN FOLK ART CANE. Dated and initialed "ACS 1919". Bark surface with relief figures of animals, leaves, fishermen and a Native American with headdress, all painted black. Small stubs left from branches form animal noses. Split in handle, loss to end. 31"l. See lot 16 for another cane, most likely of a family member, made by the same carver.

PAIR OF CARVED WOODEN CANESCarved Wooden Mexican cane. Cane is hand carved and painted with Mexican eagle biting snake, leaves and reptiles, and an Aztec warrior holding sword and shield. "MEXICO" is carved onto the side of the cane. Some paint has chipped away. 35"H. Wooden cane with relief carving of vegetation and a motif of a lizard biting a snake, with some red (representing blood) around the bite. 34.5" H.
