The blade has some flaking and the tip of the dagger is rough. There are small scratches and scuff marks on the blade. There is minor wear on the handle. The guard has some tarnishing. There are minor scuffs on the sabre with a loose tip. The clip appears to be signed ''Ges Gesch'' but it is hard to read there is also a mark on the clip ''OCL''. Overall good condition with expected signs of use and wear.

  NAZI GERMAN RAD ENLISTED MANS DAGGER, WW2 A German Nazi RAD enlisted man's dagger, Ewer, World War 2, with sheath. Motto etched on blade: "Arbeit Adelt" (Labor Enobles). Stag handle grips, attached by two screws on each side. Crisp motto, bladespine thick with blood gutter on each side. Swastika appears within the RAD spade on the lower scabbard fitting. Originally introduced in 1936 and issued to officers of the Reichs Arbeits Dienst (National Labor Corps). Two small notches etched in the metal on one side just below the guard. Etched in blade above the guard: "Ges. Gesch Original". Blade length: 9 3/4" (24.7 cm), Overall: 15 3/4" (40 cm) Condition: good condition overall for age and use.
