Very scarce late variant with large knob tip on ejecter and two line patent date 1864 1866 on cylinder. Strong action clean bore good rifling. 90% blue on barrel 20% on cylinder 15% plating left on frame. Name on barrel quite clear patent dates on cylinder are clear though harder to read because of mottled finish. Very nice gun.

They were purportedly never issued or used and sold off. These two pistols are consecutively numbered, are new in the box, and still covered with protective grease, wax paper, and the original pasteboard boxes.
