  *Winchester Model 12 Pump Action Shotgun 20 ga. 28'' mod. plain barrel S/N 1145473. Blue finish walnut stocks; 1954 date of mfg. Condition: Excellent condition with an excellent bore. This gun appears to be all original but the receiver looks like it has been wire wheeled and factory refinished. The metal surfaces are smooth and all lettering is crisp and legible. The wood is excellent but the buttstock has a 0.75'' tight crack at the top tang. Overall this is a nice Model 12.

The metal surfaces with the exception of some pitting on the bottom of the barrels at the breech are smooth with crisp markings. This is an attractive and affordable American double gun.

The gun features a blued finish that is about 80% remaining mounted to a crudely checkered handguard and buttstock. The barrels have fixed chokes with the right barrel measuring as Modified cylinder, and the left barrel as Improved Cylinder. The gun is in overall fine condition with finished wear as well as some light dings to the stock. The buttstock appears to have been shortened at one point as the butt plate has a secondary screw hole as well as some grinding marks along the edges. The shotgun features blued barrels with single bead sight fixed to a stainless finish frame with engravings of game birds with smooth walnut overswell forend and buttstock with a Pachmayr "White Line" recoil pad. Gun is in overall alright condition aesthetically with some finish wear to the barrels and a very rough interior finish to the carving. The gun does have some mechanical issues which prevent it from being safe to shoot. The right firing pin typically sticks upon firing and will not recede easily upon breaking the action.
