(2) EARLY STEREOVIEW CARDS, NEW YORK CITYTwo New York stereoview cards made by Anthony's Instantaneous Views, one of Broadway looking north from Murray St and the other of a yacht starting out from Hoboken with NY City skyline in the distance. The Broadway card contains a tiny message at the bottom saying "Entered according to an Act of Congress in the year 1859". The cards are albumen prints, which were being used in 1859, so it is possible that these two cards date that far back. Remarkably clean, flat condition.
