Paper/cardboard toy in original box, box advertises ñFun Galore!î with ñNoah, Ham, Shem, Japhet, and over 100 Animals.î Includes original paper animals in their original punch sheets (none removed), with figures from popular Disney films like the owl from Bambi and the cricket and donkey from Pinocchio. Box is 19 x 7 x 7î. Toy is in unused condition, some oxidation on staples. Box has some folds, soiling, and edge wear.

  ANTIQUE CHILD'S TOY NOAH'S ARK Continental, early 20th century, somewhat roughly cut from plywood and painted, crafted with hinged roof panel and a double door on each side, the structure rests in the desirable boat form. The roof panel opens to reveal a cavity housing pairs of giraffe, deer, camel, rhinos, lions, elephants, Noah and wife, and a single chicken. Arks such as this were produced as part of a widespread cottage industry and regarded today as a category of folk art in their own right.
