LACQUERED FIVE SECTION INRO WITH NETSUKE AND SIGNED OJIME Maki Lacquered Wood, oval form, decorated with wrap-around image of a Flower Cart in rickshaw pattern, the handles resting on a small stand; rendered in two-toned gold and black lacquer, a branch of young red maple with color on back above the handle, speckled red-gold interiors, tight friction fit between pieces. The Ojime features a seated scholar and men in a boat battered by high waves, signed in reserve; the Netsuke in the form of a peach with two leaves on a section of branch, the box is 3 1/2" x 1 7/8" x 7/8"; the ojime is 3/4" diam.; the netsuke is 1 3/4" long, very good condition.
