Collected by artist Josef Floch (Austria/New York 1895-1977) in the first half of the 20th century and given to his daughter the current owner. Accompanied by his handwritten notes. The bulk of Floch's African Pre-Columbian and Oceanic art collection was donated to the Columbus Museum of Art in 2008. It is glued down to board and was folded at one time.
