Later written Harriet Marsden's Windsor New South Wales March 29th 1835. The Gift of her Father SM? The bible was printed in 1808.Samuel Marsden (1796-1854) came to Australia in 1821 on The Westmorland with his wife and daughter Harriet who was born on the Ship. Samuel's brother Thomas married Jane Catherine a Daughter of Rev Marsden, both Samuel and Thomas Marsden where cousins of the Rev Samuel Marsden.Harriet married Anthony Hordern of the retail firm Anthony Hordern Sydney, with this lot are photo's of both Harriet and Anthony, Harriet Died in Italy aged 52 (1820-1872) and Anthony died Sydney aged 56 (1819-1876), approx 14cm H x 8cm W.
