Illustration of a female worker with a large artillery shell in one hand a biplane in the other. A foreshadowing of "Rosie the Riveter" in the next war.Second is 37.5" x 26" Lens poster by Julien Lacaze dated 1920 (Paris: Companie du Chemin de Fer du Nord) illustrating the war-damaged town of Lens with industrial buildings in the foreground residences in the background.? Condition: Very good.
