Fitzgerald Troy NY stamped Ottman Bro's & Co Fort Edward N.Y. and the second inscribed with blue slip reading A.G.C. depicting a bird stamped Whites Utica together with two contemporary stoneware pitchers. Height of first 11 inches.

The First Attributed to Sampson Smith, Circa 1860; The Other Mid-19th Century
each with a cover; the first depicting a figure sitting on a barrel, holding a decorated jug in one hand and goblet in the other; the second of ordinary form, holding a flower decorated foaming jug, bearing an impressed Davenport and anchor mark to the underside.
Height of taller example 12 1/2 inches.

BOTTLE WHIMSEY BY CARL WORNER. Probably Dunkirk New York ca 1907 glass wood and paper. Bar scene done in the classic Worner style. Carved and painted details include landscape painting under the ''Jim Cave'' bar sign bottles on the back shelf food on the table and a farmer in a straw hat. Under the floor boards a sign reads ''Find the missing man''. Unsigned the cork had a slip of newspaper with date and name of town. 11 1/2''h. German born Worner was in America in the 1880's and created over sixty bottles most of saloons. See Jones Genius in a Bottle p.191-220. Pictured on 199.
