  PABLO BEACH YARD-LONG BEACH PHOTO C.1923This is a "yard-long" panoramic photo print of the beach, swimmers in the Atlantic, and hundreds of black cars parked on the beach in the town of Pablo Beach, Florida. The town was founded in 1907, and changed its name to Jacksonville Beach in 1925, thereby dating this photo to the early 1920's.The print was originally in a 4-fold format, more recently opened up and affixed flush to a sheet of foam-filled mounting board. The photo is very sharp and detailed, making the store names on the beach quite readable. There is a caption written in the negative, now in white script at bottom of print, "Pablo Beach near Jacksonville." Photo in very fine condition except for bands of slight darkening along old fold lines and a few chips out of one of the bottom panels. Actual size 38" x 8".
