UNUSUAL FIGURAL VESSEL FROM PANAMAAn unusual figural vessel from Panama, ca. 1000 - 1500 AD. It is 6-1/2 in. high, 5-1/2 in. in diameter and depicts an individual with spindly arms reaching over his chest. The facial features are appliqu?d under the flared rim, perhaps influenced by Sinu or Tairona ceramic styles of northern Colombia. Intact, with good mineral deposits. (PM102)
