  An Old Paris Porcelain Parasol Handle Approx. 4-3/4"L, comprised of a 3-1/4" cylinder with a gilt metal collar surmounted by a 1-1/2" ball at the top. The porcelain is hand decorated with cobalt blue glaze and an intricate rococo enameled pattern over the cobalt. There is as reserve on the cylinder and one on the end of the ball with hand painted putti. Not marked.

Paper canopy panels hand-painted with various symbols including an American flag, a Rising Sun flag, a blue star, and a purple human silhouette. Reportedly carried by performers of the pre-war era during street parades commencing the arrival of the circus in town. 39" diam. Fragile panels with a few holes, scattered chipping, but structurally sound, opening and closing smoothly. Good.
