PARKER BROS. DOUBLE BARRELED 12
PARKER BROS. DOUBLE BARRELED 12 GAUGE SHOTGUNA very fine Parker Bros. shotgun, made by them in Meridien, Connecticut in 1896, so no FFL is required. The barrels are a very handsome Damascus twist pattern, and the steel mounts are nicely engraved. There is a small silver escutcheon plate on the bottom of the stock. The butt plate appears to be thermal plastic. The stock has fine checkering at the wrist and on the forend. The hammers are internal. Dimensions: The gun is 46 inches long overall, with the barrels being 30 inches long. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $105.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
Condition:
The gun is in the white, but the condition is very good to excellent. The checkering is smoothly worn, but still entirely visible. The action is crisp and sound. The buttplate has a crack in it. The bore is dusty, but clean. Witherell's strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders. MAKERS, MERIDEN, CT. U.S.A. TROJAN STEEL" on barrel rib between arrows, brass bead front sight, left bore improved modified, right bore modified, second barrel lump stamped "20" and "0", barrel flat marked "OVERLOAD PARKER BROS APPROVED" and "HT" over "A" next to "OV" next to "33", "PARKERBROS" inscribed to both sides of case colored lock plates, auto safe double triggers, safety slide, diamond pattern checkering to walnut splinter forend with pressure release, checkering to pistol grip walnut stock, ribbed composition butt plate, 43-3/4 in. overall, 6 lb. 9 oz.

bright shiny bores and chambers, exterior of barrels in good condition with only a few miniscule scratches, dings on barrel under forend as expected, overall very little evidence of use, minor surface oxidation on receiver and barrel fences, wear to barrel tang under lever, oxidation on trigger guard, wooden components in good condition with little evidence of use, a few tiny dings to stock with thin 1 in. scratch on top of wrist, nice tight lockup, triggers and safely appear to function correctly, fine condition overall

1917 PARKER DH GRADE 3 16 BORE HAMMERLESS SXS SHOTGUN Matching serial number 178726 throughout, blued 26 in. barrels with extractors and front bead sight, the barrel rib marked PARKER BROS.MAKERS. MERIDEN, CT. U.S.A. TITANIC STEEL between two arrows; the water table stamped PARKER BROS./ REG./ U.S. PAT. OFF. / PAT’D JAN. 18, AUG. 16. 1887 / PAT’D OCT. 25. 1910./ PATD. AUG. 16, 1905. and with a serial number over 3; the barrel flats marked with T in circle, J.G. in oval, 3 with small 4 (unstruck 3 lb. 4 oz. weight), 3 on left side flat, serial number to right side of lug; Circassian walnut stock with fine checkering and carved side panels, silver shield on underside of butt; skeleton buttplate; the interior flat of the forestock with serial number and PATD MAY 7,1901; silver-plated triggers, the elaborately engraved receiver has scrolled patterns throughout and features a setter on the right panel, a hound on the left paned, and four pheasants before the trigger guard below. Will require FFL transfer.
