Barrels retain 80 percent of the original blued finish with some fading at the muzzles over the forearm and at the breeches with some very minor scratches and handling marks overall. The receiver shows at 60 percent of the original faded case colors with vivid colors in protected areas the balance being a smooth gray. The wood is excellent with light handling marks overall. Mechanics are excellent. Recoil pad has hardened with some cracking. 2 3/4 inch chambers choked full and full. The wood rates excellent as refinished with a repaired crack through the wrist and re-cut checkering. Wood to metal fit is excellent.
