PROVENANCE: By repute descended through the Howe family of Worcester, MA Property of a Philadelphia gentleman ,000-10,000 - overall very good and near complete set - case has some veneer chips to edges and steel mounts have oxidized, escutcheon missing - table mirror will need to be replaced - leather color bright and near original color - porcelain pieces in good condition, some light surface scratches, all unmarked - some of the gilt wash on silver mounts is worn - two of the cut glass cups are broken - tortoishell comb in good condition - all mother of pearl implements in good condition
