CHINESE ZISHA TEAPOT W/ PEWTER INLAID,ROC PERIOD A Chinese zisha teapot with pewter inlaid, dating from the Republic period. The teapot has two pewter dragon figures around the body with auspicious Chinese symbols. A flower finial and a double metal handle.
H. 6" (15.2 cm), W. 8" (20.3 cm)
Condition: good condition overall for age and use, with tarnish to the metal areas and wear on the zisha clay. The pewter foot also has some wear and dented areas, as well as one of the metal handles.

ASIAN POTTERY INCLUDING SUMIDA AND YIXING. China and Japan, late 19th-early 20th century. Five piece Yixing tea set with pewter dragon overlay. Various marks including "Hsin Ho Cheng, Weihaiwei". Loss. And a Sumida pottery vase with robed scholar marked for Inoue Ryosai, 6.75"h. Together with two porcelain figures of women. Larger has underglaze blue mark, 10"h., the other a glued neck, 6.25"h.
