DELUXE PHILADELPHIA DERINGER, .44 CALIBERDeluxe Philadelphia Deringer, single-shot, .44 caliber. Walnut checkered stock with 4" seven groove, double silver banded barrel, single set trigger, blank silver engraved inscription plaque at the top of the wrist, engraved silver trigger guard, reverse side of action plate, and barrel key escutcheons. Barrel stamped DERINGER PHILADEL and " P ", lock plate stamped DERINGER PHILADEL. 6" total L. Note: this model was produced from produced from 1852 through 1868. Condition:
Mechanically sound. Right stock chipped at shoulder. Barrel swivel loose. one escutcheon missing. Untouched brown patina, dark bore.

Philadelphia Deringer .45 cal. 3.75'' barrel with silver bands at breech. P in a sunburst on the left flat. Top of flat marked Deringer Philadelphia. Engraved tang and lock. Engraved Geramn silver furniture and a capbox in butt. Walnut stock. Condition: Barrel is grey with some light patina and some staining. Lock and hammer are a nice brown. Stock shows wear with some varnish missing.

Philadelphia Deringer .40 cal. 2'' barrel with gold bands at breech. P in a sunburst on left side of barrel marked on top of breech Deringer Philadelphia. Engraved lockplate hammer tang breech. Engraved silver furniture. Checkered walnut stocks. Deringers with gold bands and silver furniture are very rare. Condition: Barrel lock and hammer have a nice dark brown patina that is very even in appearance. Silver has tarnished a black.

Brass tip ramrod. ?Stock marked on the left flat V over GF. ?Walnut stock with cheek piece. Condition: All metal is very sharp and crisp with nice brown patina. ?Stock is excellent with some nicks and dings. Has an excellent cartouche. ?Iron parts with nice untouched patina. ?This is an excellent example of a Model?1814 rifle.

Approximately .41 caliber; single barrel with back action percussion round with flat top marked: ''CHARLESTON SC'' and downed muzzle ; patent breeches of semi-octagonal shape walnut stock checkered at grip; mounted with silver engraved triggerguard sideplate flash plateguard wedge escutcheons on forend and blank shield escutcheon on back of handle and a silver tear-shaped cap on bottom of bird's head style butt; fitted in a felt-lined compartmented wood locking case. overall L6'' barrel L2 1/2'' (2pcs) Provenance: Bluffton South Carolina private collection. Good condition no missing screws all parts appear to be original and mechanism is working and feels strong. Case in good condition missing escutcheon.
