JANE PEISER (NC, 1932-2022), EARLY PLATTER, TWO GOBLETS, AND PENGUIN COMPOSITION The matte glazed platter is decorated in blue and yellow with a pinwheel of birds, signed (13 1/4 in.); the goblets are large open cups atop the heads of female figures (taller 10 1/2 in.), the undersides are fabric covered; a composition of two penguins amid flora upon a rock, inscribed on the underside "PB + JP" (loss to edge of a blue leaf).
