ZIMMER'S OWN BASE BALL GAMEZimmer's
ZIMMER'S OWN BASE BALL GAMEZimmer's Own Base Ball Game , inscribed Zimmer the Catcher, Cleveland, Ohio. Patents Pending , this early version is thought to predate the scarce and desired Zimmer game, with this version having duochrome lithography paper on card with realistic portrait, metal player arms with wood frame. One can see thru some of the missing paper spots and under curling of the end pieces that there is possibly another layer or version underneath. We, along with expert consultants have not seen other examples of this game, 23" x 23" x 2" h.
Condition:
wood frame is loose in some sections mostly at corners; some paper wear, rippling and brittle paper toward 1 side , 2 sets of holes in board indicate missing pieces, otherwise good condition
