A stunning pottery jug presenting a flared rim, a narrow neck, a broad shoulder, and a bulbous body, all sitting atop a petite, discoid foot. Boasting black on red decoration, the exterior is adorned with a large, horizontal band of spiral motifs around the center of the body flanked by several straight and wavy horizontal striations above and below, as well as a starburst design around the neck. A bifurcated, ribbon-form handle connects rim to shoulder, also showcasing a black-painted pattern of horizontal stripes.
