Manufactured by Massachusetts Arms Company .50 caliber 21 5/8'' round barrel sling swivels on barrel band and butt left side of the breech marked by Poultney and Trimble Baltimore walnut stock with cartouche. S/n 4154. Clean bore good rifling strong mechanics and parts look original. Wood all in good shape.

TRIPLETT & SCOTT REPEATING CARBINE. .50 caliber rimfire 30'' round barrel flip up adjustable rear sight sling swivel above and below butt walnut stock. S/n 542. Clean bore strong rifling good action. All appropriate markings on lockplate tang and receiver very clear. Barrel and frame have even dark patina. Stock has horizontal crack at wrist wood missing on both sides of upper tang. Retaining screw on upper tang is stripped. Only 3 000 of this gun ever made!

SMITH CAVALRY CARBINE, .50 CAL A Civil War-era Smith Carbine made for the U.S. Cavalry by Poultney & Trimble of Baltimore. The firearm utilizes a unique break-action mechanism which was coupled with a propietary paper-cartridge with an additional rubber gasket to complete the gas seal. This particular carbine is in overall fine condition, with some recoil cracks in the stock, a missing tang screw, and some frosting just forward of the chamber. The finish is largely worn off with maybe 60% remaining and some minor pitting around the percussion nipple and hammer. S/N: 7531, Caliber: .50 Cal BP, BBL: 21 1/2", OAL: 39"

SN 628 double stamped at break mechanism, stamped "L.F.R." on side of barrel just ahead of the breech, inspector marks stamped in stock on left side, "JH" in an oval, "CTR" in a rectangle. 20 1/8" barrel, overall length 39 1/4", in a fine state of preservation, original surface on metal and stock, a few dents in stock, appears to function.

Aka ''The John Brown Model'' 21-1/2'' round barrel .52 caliber Sharps pellet primer system mounted in the lock brass patchbox and butt plate saddle ring on left side walnut stock. S/n 15559. Bore is clear rifling good action strong. Barrel has a mottled brown grey apperance no writing is visible here. Upper tang has only markings Sharps patent 1848 and Sn. 15559. These are faint but legible. Stock has old dings scratches and has been varnished. Very historical gun.

T/C WHITE MOUNTAIN CARBINE
T/C WHITE MOUNTAIN CARBINE MUZZLELOADER, .50 CAL An offering of a muzzle-loading hunting carbine made by Thompson/Center of Rochester, NH. The carbine features a half-round to octagonal barrel with a deep blue finish mounted to a smooth walnut stock with straight grip and a case-colored side-plate with percussion hammer and nipple. The rifle has been drilled and tapped for a weaver scope base which is currently fitted with a Tasco variable zoom scope with 2X-7X magnification with see-through scope rings. The iron sights consist of a driftable front blade with a fully adjustable rear V-notch sight. The carbine is in overall fine condition with about a third of the case coloring worn off the side plate, some minor corrosion on the hammer, some small dings to the stock and the middle ram-rod band has become disconnected. The rifling is still in good condition and no other issues are present. S/N: 11172, Caliber: .50 Cal BP, BBL: 21 1/2", OAL: 37 1/2"

Burnside Third Model Percussion Carbine .54 caliber 21'' round barrel S/N 4091 on breech and frame. Lockplate marked Burnside Rifle Co Providence RI. Walnut buttstock and forearm. Sling swivel on the bottom of buttstock. Front forearm band is missing. Third model is a very rare carbine to find. They are distinguishable by the breechblock which has no pivot. And the forearm which slops differently to the barrel than a fourth model. The same breechblock as a second model. Condition: All metal has been lightly cleaned and has some brown staining mixed with pitting. Buttstock with some nicks and dings and has been re-finished.
