Hand enameled in cobalt blue and iron red depicting blooming prunus trees in peonies gardens two diamond reserves on the neck and Islamic inspired lappet reserves at the top and near the bottom on peonies and chrysanthemums background; gilt highlights throughout. A fine blue line on foot and underneath. No marks found. Measures apprx. 16-1/2"T x 6"D at the widest point.

Underglaze blue crossed sword marks with Arabic numbers below and impressed E 153 to undersides. 10 1/2" H. Circa 1823. 3rd item: Porcelain inkwell, the bisque lid comprised of a figural scene with woman holding a child atop a dog, pitcher with spilled glass and ball beside them and a fence with foliage behind them. Inkwell is glazed with gilt scroll design and removable bisque-bottomed well and sander. Impressed mark S & S. 6" H. Continental, Mid 19th century. On inkwell, child's hand is missing and there is a repaired chip to the woman's hat; pitcher is missing its handle. Light wear to gilding.
