A CHINESE RED GLAZED VASE W/ QIANLONG MARK Chinese ,Qianlong mark but later ,superbly potted with an exaggerated compressed pear-shaped body rising from a splayed foot, sweeping up to a tall cylindrical neck flaring towards the rim, applied to the exterior with a copper-red glaze thinning just below the rim, crackled ground to the interior and the foot base left white, inscribed to the base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue

A Chinese Coral Red Porcelain Vase of Longevity ca. 1940 Of bulbous shape with long narrow neck and small opening. Hand painted in polychrome two oval reserves depicting disciples with their mentors in different scenes; coral background with gilt accented geometric pattern between two Chinese symbols of Longevity on both sides apocryphal mark on the bottom that reads Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi - "Great Qing Qianlong Period Make" however not of the period. Vase measures apprx. 8-3/4"T x 4-1/4"D at the widest point and overall on stand apprx. 9-7/8"T.
