[Rouault/Chapon 101d]. provenance: Private Collection, Pennsylvania. Framed, matted. Not examined out of frame. Piece is matted up to edges of image. Some evidence of margins are visible under edges of mat, however it is unknown whether margins are full. Sheet is rippled within mat window. In lower right corner area of sheet there appears to be an area of vertical discoloration - this discoloratino appears more brown than gray - although it is difficult to see. Slightly above and to the right of this area there is an area where the sheet seems to touch the glass- resulting in a grayish looking area. Directly above that there are two tiny ares of light gray discoloration. It is unknown whether this discoloration is on the surface or whether it is removed ink.
