GREEN & YELLOW REDWARE JUGSmall redware stoneware ceramic pottery jug with a glossy green glaze with spots of yellow. The jug with an ovoid body, tapered bottleneck, and handle.
Height: 6 3/4 in x diameter: 5 1/4 in.
Condition:
The pottery is in generally good condition. Consistent with its use and age, wear throughout. There is a minute chip to the outer side of the handle. Throughout the piece, there are minute firing and glazing flaws, which are most likely to be original to the artistic practice. Wear to its underside, consistent with its age and use. There is a 1 inch long loss to the foot rim; there is a 1 inch crack to the underside. No sign of restoration under UV inspection. Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
