All model 1891s were manufactured in 1898 and before.

• Antique Remington No. 4 Rolling
  Antique Remington No. 4 Rolling Block Rifle .22 cal. 24'' barrel S/N 16865. Blued barrel case colored receiver walnut stocks; Lyman Super Targetspot 20X scope. Condition: Very good condition with a very good bore. The barrel is mostly brown with ca 20% original blue and the receiver has mottled traces of original case colors. The wood is near excellent with a .25'' sliver missing where it meets the top tang. The later added scope has clear optics and retains ca 95% original blue finish.

Barrel retains over 90% of bluing frame and hammer retain traces of their case colors old finish on the grips marks slightly worn but still readable.

Left side of frame marked ''1871''. Tang behind trigger reads ''Remingtons Patent Pat. May 3d Nov.15th. 1864 April 17th 1868''. Stock stamped ''ELA'' on right side. Barrel has light layer of corrosion. Stock retains very dark patina with expected wear and scratches. Butt plate stamped U.S. on top.
