A Collection of Abbia Gaming Chips SW Cameroon Africa spanning 19th-Early 20th Century Carved from the hard nuts of rain forest trees the nut is split in two and the outer shell is carved with depictions of the physical mechanical and spiritual world of Africa. The game is rarely played today and so such gaming pieces are still a nice resource for African art and culture. Lot includes 41 carved game chips each measuring approximately 1-1/2"L. Encased in glass display box.
