RARE WICKER THEME BACK ROCKING CHAIR, CA. 1880.Rattan and wood, features a star and crescent moon design. Made by the Novelty Rattan Co., Boston, MA. It retains its original paper label on the underside of the seat. 37" high, 24" wide, 30" deep, with the rockers. Original natural finish, near mint condition. Provenance: Mary Jean McLaughlin Collection. Featured in the Smithsonian Exhibition at the Renwick Gallery in August 1993.
