English Oval Tea Caddy, with string inlaid wood and rolled paper frame, exterior decorated with applied rolled paper leaf and floral vines on a mica ground, applied paper cartouche with watercolor painted musical instruments, interior with traces of foil lining, 4 7/8" high, 6" x 4 1/4". Losses to exterior applied decoration and wood interior lip, base worm damage.
