Works replaced with modern quartz movement, repairs to face at key holes, traces of original gilt surface, scattered light corrosion, sword, shield and hammer possibly not properly mounted, no key or pendulum. Estate of the Late Dr. John Rison Jones, Jr., Huntsville, Alabama. All proceeds to benefit the Art Acquisition Fund, Huntsville Museum of Art.

ROMAN REVIVAL FRENCH MARBLE MANTLE CLOCK: Sienna marble case with applied decoration of cherub and famous Greek and Roman profiles in medallions to include Homer Virgil Caesar Pausanias and others. Metal face with Roman numerals. Time and strike movement marked simply TN. Sold with replacement black marble base with opening to allow extra long pendulum to swing freely. Key and pendulum in office. Overall 13 1/4'' h. x 8 3/4'' x 6 1/2''.CONDITION: Note missing crystal wear and rubs to face flea bites to edges of case hammer for strike mechanism has broken off but we do have the hammer. Currently running however not guaranteed to continue.
