the nautilus shell-form body surmounted by a lizard and supported by a coral stem with scattered shells below, the circular base applied with coquina shell and seaweed motifs, partly painted in gold and enamelled in a bronze color, impressed and green underglaze factory mark with date cypher for 1884, impressed 93, 4 and V5 under base ; height: 22.5 cm (8 7/8 in.)
CONDITION
Beyond some gentle rubbing to the enamel in places, the vase is in excellent original condition with no issues to report. Inspection under UV light reveals no apparent signs of restoration.
