The consignor had an early love for Disney and their beloved characters. She was employed by both the Disney Company and Warner Brothers Galleries for several years handling animation art and sales of scarce collectible items. She worked directly with many of the artists involved in the production of artwork, studio film and television shows. During her time with Warner Brothers Galleries she was able to procure pieces directly from the company vault in Burbank, CA.**

Together with a Fujii Toyland Co. celluloid and metal ''Arty the Trapeze Artist'' wind-up toy 7''h. with box 8''h. 6.25''w. Surface wear scuffing scratches and flaking overall. Marx ranger is in working condition but missing lariat. Gibbs girl on swing shows some rust to swing frame wood base may be a replacement. Works stick on Arty index finger of right hand is broken off some rust to works box shows wear.

American author of Gone With The Wind one of the most popular novels of all time winning the Pulitzer Prize in 1937 and released as a motion picture in 1939 to much acclaim. It took Mitchell ten years to complete the book.
