Two Jordanian or Palestinian
Two Jordanian or Palestinian Bedouin tribe side daggers. 20th century Islamic or Arabic known locally as Shibriya the blades are short (5.25'' and 5.5'') re-curving and double edged with an acute tip both are also engraved with Arabic inscription at the base of the blade. The grips as well as the scabbards are covered with engraved white metal. The scabbards are set with a belt loop at the rear sides. Both daggers have inset red beads in the hilt one has green and red beads inset into the scabbard and the other has gold tone highlights across the scabbard and hilt. Daggers are both sold along with and displayed inside a glass shadow box. Condition: minor dings and dents to metal grips and scabbards see images. Each measures 10.5'' long total x 1.4'' wide. Shadow box measures 18'' tall x 6'' wide. Shipping weight 3.1 lbs.
