AN ELABORATE SHIPLEY SADDLE TOOLED WITH BIRDS & BRONCSThe extra fancy leather saddle having a fat undercut swell fork and padded seat is beautifully tooled with, among other designs, birds on each jockey and skirt as well as bucking horse and rider on each fender over the leather wrapped stirrups, along with other extra features. Maker's stamp on each fender and the seat.Measures 16 inches from the base of the horn to the inside edge of the cantle.Good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear. Possible minor replacements and a missing metal mount from one stirrup.Provenance: John Royle Trust and Living Estate, Independence, Missouri.
