Maker's marks rubbed.(3). H: 3 3/4 in. 5 oz PROVENANCE: Property of Sir & Lady Coates, Belfast, Ireland. By family descent. Private Collection, Virginia. The liner to the covered pot is broken with all pieces present. The foot to the open salt is slightly bent. Overall good condition. Case in good condition with old marks and scratches from age and use.

All bearing Birmingham hallmarks and maker's marks for William Suckling Ltd. The open salts and mustard pot with date mark for 1950, the pepper casters dated 1939. Together with an associated 20th century sterling silver mayonnaise bowl (dented) by BIRKS with a cobalt glass liner, measuring 2.5" high x 4.75" diameter. Combined silver weight, 259 grams.
