Etching from an illustrated book on Arches, artist's signature and date 1934 in pencil in lower margin, unframed, Field 34-2. "Les Chants de Maldoror" included 30 full page and 12 vignette original engravings by Dali under the guidance of Bracon from original drawings by Dali; plates in possession of Pierre Argillet in Paris since 1974. Stamp verso reading "Courtesy of Julien Levy Gallery". In 1934 Gala and Dali had an exhibition of drawings and engravings at the Julien Levy Gallery; this is the event where Dali signed and dated the print.
