Condition: Some surface wear, most noticeably an approx. 2 in. area of paint loss from bottom of vase to lower edge of one work; the other work with two splits to board, one approx. 2 in. extending diagonally from left edge (in background), the other approx. 3 in. extending vertically from lower edge to left of vase (primarily in table). UV examination reveals heavy masking varnish with scattered small areas of restoration primarily background. CONDITION
Observed in frame, the work is in overall good original condition. Horizontal tear to the upper center 7 cm (2 3/4 in.) long and minor resulting warping. Inspection under UV light reveals an even layer of varnish and no apparent signs of restoration.
