A Japanese Incense Burner Meiji The censer has a bulbous squat shape with three feet hand enameled with a dark blue background three reserves containing elaborate iron red blue and gold designs of a fan a chrysanthemum and a lion with decorative circles in between in blue iron red and gilt unsigned. It has a lovely reticulated silver plated domed lid with chrysanthemum foliage surrounding the central floral opening. Overall measures apprx. 3-1/4"D x 2-3/4"H. Comes with a finely carved fitted wood stand.
